You Don't Have to Explain Yourself Here
Coaching for Muslim women who are ready to hear their own voice again
You can stop translating yourself
Most of your life, you have probably explained. Explained your faith. Explained your family. Explained why you can't just "say no," why it isn't that simple, why the rules and expectations feel the way they do.
Here, you don't have to.
I understand your faith. I understand your culture. I understand the weight of being the dutiful daughter, the patient wife, the strong mother, the believer who is not supposed to struggle. I know where you are coming from, because I have walked there too.
You don't have to be shy about your pain
Maybe you have never said some of it out loud. The hurt you have carried quietly. The things that happened. The shame that came with them. The way you learned to keep going and keep smiling.
You can bring all of it here, at your own pace, without being judged, without having to justify yourself, and without having to protect me from what you say.
Nothing you tell me will shock me, and you will never be made to feel like less of a believer for struggling.
I know the way back
I have been in the deep, dark place of not knowing: not knowing who I was, what was true, or whether any light was left. I have lived through pain and abuse, and I know what it is to find my way back to life.
That is why my work is not about fixing you. You are not broken. It is about helping you notice the voices you absorbed along the way, the ones that told you who to be and what you deserved, and helping you hear your own voice again, the one that was there before.
What makes working with me different
You never have to explain your faith. Love for God and the Ahlulbayt is not something I work around. It is part of the ground we stand on.
I understand the culture you live inside. Family expectations, community pressure, and the fear of being judged are not new to me.
I work with your inner dialogue. The sentences you repeat to yourself, "I'm not enough," "I'm too scared," "I don't measure up," are where we start. We ask together: whose voice is this?
I come from lived experience, not theory. I have found my way back, and I walk beside you, not above you.
Your pace and your privacy are respected. You decide what we talk about and when.
What our work together looks like
We meet one-on-one, privately, for 60 to 90 minutes a session, one to two weeks apart. We decide the rhythm together, and we work in a way that fits you:
We build a plan together and see what really works for you.
We unravel what is holding you back one layer at a time, like an onion.
We speak to your subconscious mind through guided journeys.
I leave you with work to do between sessions.
Together, we will move out of the darkness and back into the light.
An honest word about what coaching is
Coaching is a supportive, forward-looking partnership. It is not therapy, and it is not a substitute for mental health care or trauma treatment. If you are working through abuse or trauma, I will happily walk beside you as you rebuild, and I encourage you to also work with a licensed professional if you need one. If you are ever in danger or crisis, please contact emergency services or, in the US, call or text 988.
Begin with a free conversation
You do not have to decide anything today. Let's talk first, no pressure, just two women, one conversation, and your voice finally being heard.
